Your password should also follow these guidelines:

DO use:

  • a passphrase (phrase or series of words) rather than random characters to make your password easy to remember

    • Example: “h@ng Ur ha7” instead of “Hang your hat7”

Do NOT use:

  • your birthday
  • pet’s name
  • license plate
  • any other word or number easily associated with you
