Activate Duo Mobile on a New Device

Your new device must have the same phone number as your previous device. If it does not, use the directions here.

Step 1

Go to https://sso.tamus.edu in your web browser

Click on the AgriLife agency logon button

Step 2

Login using your firstname.lastname and your current AgNet password

Step 3

Click on the My Settings & Devices screen in the left hand side of the screen

Step 4

Click the Cancel button, then click the Call Me or Enter a Passcode button

Call me will call your phone and prompt you to press a button on your phone

Enter a Passcode will text you a passcode that you will type in on the next screen

Step 5

Click the Device Options button

Step 6

Click on the Reactivate Duo Mobile button

Step 7

Choose a verification method

If you selected Text me, then enter the code provided to you

Click Verify

Click Continue

Step 8

Select your phone’s operating system

Click Continue

Step 9

Download the Duo Mobile app from your app store

Tap on I have Duo Mobile installed

Step 10

On your phone, open the Duo Mobile app

Tap on the + in the top right corner of the screen

Hold your phone up to your computer screen and scan the barcode

After the app has recognized the barcode, click Continue on your computer screen

The Continue button on your screen will turn bright green when your barcode has been recognized
