At this time, the re-authentication option for Duo to remember your device will be reduced from 30 days to 5 days as per the new TAMU System Security Control Standard IA-11.

On July 19th, your Duo “Remember me for” option was reduced from 30 days to 5 days

What this means to you

Employees who need access to their AgriLife email on older iPhones or older Android phones will need to download and install the Microsoft Outlook application.

Older iPhone and Android email apps do not support the required “modern authentication” method for two-factor authentication.

Please click the button below for device-specific instructions on downloading and configuring the Microsoft Outlook email app on your phone.

Please download and set up the Microsoft Outlook app on your phone to avoid any disruption in service on your mobile device.

Additionally, local applications like

  1. Outlook
  2. OneDrive
  3. Teams

will occasionally require Duo authentication to start the application on your computer.
