Requirements to cast:
- You must be signed in to Microsoft Teams using your AgriLife AgNet ID
- You must be within 30 feet of the room’s screen
- Your device must be connected to the internet
Cast from your laptop
In the Microsoft Teams app:
- Click on … next to your picture or initials in the top right corner
- Click on Cast
- Click on the room you want to Cast to and click Next
- Select how you will Cast
- Click Just cast if don’t want to join a scheduled meeting
- Click Cast and join if you have a scheduled meeting
- Click Next
- Select what you want to Cast
- Click Cast
Cast from your phone or tablet
In the Microsoft Teams app:
- Tap on More in the lower right corner
- Tap on Cast
- Tap on the room you want to Cast to
- Select what you want to Cast
- Tap on Project a PowerPoint to cast a PowerPoint
- Tap on Project my screen to show all of your phone or tablet
- iPhone and iPad- Tap on Microsoft Teams
- Tap on Start Broadcast
End your Cast
On your laptop:
- Click on Leave or End Meeting in the Teams app
On your phone or tablet:
- Tap on the time in the top left corner
- Tap Stop
