How are they impacted? | Some research groups do not currently have access to their research platforms due to historical processes within college departments. The COALS researchers and faculty have expressed the desire to retain or acquire administrative privileges for their systems |
What do they need to do? | RSVP to one of the informational webinars below and/or contact their area IT support team to schedule a time to obtain administrative access |
Administrative access is being provided to researcher’s systems where they do not currently have this access.
This enables researchers to have full management control over their research platforms, and facilitates those needing to perform specific activities after normal business hours and weekends.
AgriLife IT will still have administrative access, and will be installing remote compliance and security monitoring software to alert researchers of any compliance or security issues.
