This guide will walk you through setting up your new AgriLife-owned iPad and should have you going in a few minutes.

Take your new iPad out of the box and turn it on. Press the home button. Select the device language.
Select the United States on the Select Your Country or Region screen.
You will be prompted to complete the “Quick Start” setup. Select “Set Up Manually” to begin configuring your iPad.
Connect your iPad to your wifi network by choosing your network name and entering the wifi password.
Your iPad will then activate. This may take a few minutes, so be patient.
Tap Continue on the Data & Privacy Notice
You will then be prompted to transfer data to your new iPad. If this iPad is not replacing a previously AgriLife-owned iPad, select “Don’t Transfer Apps & Data” to set this up as a new device
Click Next in the top right corner on the Remote Management screen
Enter your AgriLife AgNet ID and password
Your username is your firstname.lastname
Once through the remote management setup, you will be prompted to set up Touch ID.
You can do this now or opt to set this up at a later time.
Select Continue to set up now, or Set up Touch ID Later to set it up at a later time.
Create a passcode
For AgriLife-owned iPads, you will need to sign in with an Apple ID that is tied to your AgriLife email address, and not a personal Apple ID.
If you have already set up your Apple ID using your AgriLife email address, you can use your credentials to sign in now. If you do not have your AgriLife Apple ID set up yet, you can tap the “Forgot password or don’t have an Apple ID?”
Select Create a Free Apple ID or Set Up Later in Settings
Agree to the iOS Terms & Conditions
Set your preferred settings for Location Services, Siri, Screen Time, Analytics, and Appearance
Your iPad setup is now complete!
