All systems provided by TechBuy come with a 3 year warranty.
TechBuy has staff available to navigate the warranty repair process on behalf of our customers. We apply our experience from past cases, run diagnostics, troubleshoot, order replacement parts, and perform the repairs. Since TechBuy is trained and certified with the HP Warranty Repair process we also get a discount on out of warranty repairs when needed.
What is the process?
When a customer relays a technical issue, we first evaluate whether the equipment needs to be sent in. If so, we assist with shipping labels and pickups. In simple cases, staff may be able to coordinate a drop shipment of a part. Initially, we aim to answer customer questions and then figure how to best proceed. If we determine that warranty repair is needed we will coordinate with customer and HP to handle these repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible.
How does this help me?
If a customer were to call HP directly for warranty repair they would end up at the lowest tier support group who handles the highest volume of calls. The process will be extremely time consuming and troubleshooting will have to be perform through a methodical process that has to be followed before HP would send a part out for warranty repair. HP has a strict process with certifications required to perform warranty repair work that TechBuy has already performed and as a result we get immediate access to request replacement hardware without question.
If it is determined your hard drive needs to be replaced during the warranty repair process, we can also handle reloading or reimaging the new hard drive when necessary.
Additionally, we can attempt a data recovery if your hard drive has failed.
