CoALS IT Governance

CoALS IT Governance is the framework for:

  • implementing polices
  • monitoring business processes
  • reviewing internal controls

By doing these 3 things, we can effectively, efficiently, and securely execute the strategic plan.

The organizational chart of CoALS IT Governance

Technology Leadership Council (TLC)

The Technology Leadership Council (TLC) advises and executes decisions in IT strategies, investments, operations, priorities, and services. The TLC operates transparently and is accountable to the CoALS community.

Enterprise Technology Committee (ETC)

The Enterprise Technology Committee (ETC) is the primary steward of CoALS enterprise information technology resources. Members serving on the committee maintain an understanding of the enterprise technology needs of their departments, while also advocating for technologies that enhance the capabilities of the college.

Technology Security and Compliance Committee (TSCC)

The TSCC provides recommendations for IT policy & compliance priorities using Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) to the TLC. The TSCC provides recommendations for IT risk and security priorities using Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) for the TLC.
