AgriLife Distribution Lists

Effective February 21st, 2022, all AgriLife Email Distribution Lists are created and managed through AgriLife People.

How to access your lists

Step 1: Log in to AgriLife People

Go to https://agrilifepeople.tamu.edu
Click on the blue LOGIN button in the top right corner
Click on the AGRILIFE square on the following screen
Enter your AgriLife AgNet ID and password
Authenticate using your preferred Duo method

Step 2: Click on the YOUR ALP tab

Then click on Your Active IT Services

Step 3: Scroll down to the Owned Resources section

This will show you:

  • The name of the list
  • Any other owners
  • The number of current recipients/members of the list

How to modify owners and members

Step 1: Log in to AgriLife People

Go to https://agrilifepeople.tamu.edu
Click on the blue LOGIN button in the top right corner
Click on the AGRILIFE square on the following screen
Enter your AgriLife AgNet ID and password
Authenticate using your preferred Duo method

Step 2: Click on the YOUR ALP tab

Then click on Your Active IT Services

Step 3: Scroll down to the Owned Resources section

This will show you:

  • The name of the list
  • Any other owners
  • The number of current recipients/members of the list

Step 4: Click on MANAGE MEMBERSHIP

Step 5: Add/Remove Members

Use the Add a Person drop down to add members

Click REMOVE next to members’ names to remove them from the list

Click SAVE

How to create a new list

New lists will require approval from your immediate supervisor listed in AgriLife People

Step 1: Log in to AgriLife People

Go to https://agrilifepeople.tamu.edu
Click on the blue LOGIN button in the top right corner
Click on the AGRILIFE square on the following screen
Enter your AgriLife AgNet ID and password
Authenticate using your preferred Duo method

Step 2: Click on the YOUR ALP tab

Then click on Manage Your IT Services

Step 3: Scroll down to the Creation Requests section

Check the box next to “Distribution List”

Change the effective date and time

If you need your new list prior to or after 5 pm of the day you are requesting creation, click on the calendar icon under the Date & Time These Changes Should Take Place section
Click CONTINUE

Step 4: Configure your list

Name your list, add a backup owner, members, decide if your list is unit specific, and provide your reasoning for the new list

Click CONTINUE

Step 6: Submit your Request

Review the information provided about your new list. If everything is correct, click SUBMIT Request.

If you need to make any changes prior to submitting, click on the Service Configurations tab
